Resumo:

Simulators have proven to be relatively cheap, safe, reliable, and easy-to-reproduce alternatives to complement training in the most diverse areas, such as aviation, health, and factory work. Despite this, little is found in the literature about simulators for the Security and Defense area. With the development and cheaper Virtual Reality equipment, more immersive simulators with greater interaction capacity are already possible to be built. The present work proposes an architecture focused on simulation for training police forces using Virtual Reality. To this end, a specific conceptual model was initially established, based on previous training experiences developed by the research group CRAb (Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality, and Animation) that used Virtual Reality with projections on surfaces.
Afterward, the architecture and some prototypes were generated following their specifications. And, currently, the results are in the validation phase with specialists, safety instructors.
