Resumo:
Regulations require that users rights’ are respected, especially on how they choose their data to be processed. Consent and purpose metadata can be efficiently represented as a filter structure, allowing space-saving and efficient querying. However, this data bring a constraint where a false positive signifies the violation of a regulation. Knowledge of a particular selection by individuals may also allow for inappropriate inferences by attackers, even though filter structures are probabilistic. This work describes a novel data structure to represent and store this metadata, and how to protect individuals by applying differential privacy mechanisms, in order to prevent reconstruction and membership attacks.
